What matters to you, matters here

Care that considers the whole person.

Every person brings a different history, different circumstances and different reasons for seeking psychological support.

At Mind & Meaning, we take the time to understand the person behind the presenting concerns.

Seeking psychological support can take courage. We aim to provide a warm, respectful and non-judgemental environment where you can speak openly about your experiences.

There is no single approach that works for everyone. Your experiences, circumstances, strengths and goals inform the way treatment is developed.

Our work is informed by contemporary psychological research and established therapeutic approaches, with interventions selected according to your individual needs and treatment goals.

We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment and maintaining privacy and confidentiality in accordance with professional, ethical and legal requirements.

Where appropriate, and with your consent, we can work alongside GPs, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians and other health professionals involved in your care.

Therapy can be about more than managing symptoms. It can create an opportunity to develop insight, build practical skills, strengthen relationships, reconnect with your values and move towards a life that feels meaningful to you.

About MMPC

Life has a way of changing.

Sometimes we know why. Sometimes we don’t. There are moments when we simply find ourselves wondering about where we are, what matters to us, and where we want to go from here.

Mind & Meaning Psychology Clinic was created for those moments.

We believe meaningful psychological care begins with understanding the whole person — their experiences, relationships, circumstances, values and hopes, and how these shape the way we see ourselves and move through life.

Our name reflects this idea. Mind speaks to how we think, feel and experience the world. Meaning speaks to what matters to us and the life we want to create.

At Mind & Meaning, you can arrive as you are. There is no expectation to have everything figured out. We offer a thoughtful, welcoming space to understand yourself, navigate what feels difficult and move towards what matters to you.

Wherever you are starting from, there is space to begin.

Starting Therapy

You don't need to know exactly what to say.

Reaching out for psychological support can feel like a significant step.

You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis, a clear explanation or a plan for what therapy should look like.

01

Make an enquiry

Contact the clinic to enquire about availability and whether our service may be appropriate for you.

02

Initial consultation

The first appointment provides an opportunity to discuss what has brought you to therapy, your current circumstances and what you would like support with.

03

Develop a plan

Together, we identify areas of focus and consider the therapeutic approach and strategies that may be most appropriate.

04

Review & progress

Therapy is an ongoing process. Treatment goals and progress can be reviewed over time and the approach adjusted as needed.

Start where you are. We'll work from there.
