Kiran
Kiran is an AHPRA-registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). He has extensive experience in treatment planning and the delivery of psychological interventions across a diverse range of presentations and settings.
His interests span child, adolescent, and adult psychopathology, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, neurodevelopmental concerns, and adjustment difficulties arising from relationship challenges, employment changes, and other stressful life events.
Before working in private practice, he gained experience across a variety of clinical and community settings, including schools, hospitals and psychiatric wards, community health services, and youth and adult correctional environments. These experiences have shaped his understanding that psychological difficulties rarely exist in isolation, and that what a person is experiencing is often connected to their relationships, environment, experiences and sense of self.
Kiran currently practises as an independent psychologist, consulting from PASO Medical at Frankston Private Hospital, where he provides individualised psychological services to support clients with a range of psychological and emotional concerns.
He is committed to ongoing professional development and continually expanding his clinical knowledge and skills. Recognising that psychological needs are shaped by an ever-changing world, he values the importance of staying informed about contemporary psychological research, emerging evidence and developments in mental health care.
Experience across the lifespan
Every person brings a different history, different circumstances and different reasons for seeking psychological support.
At Mind & Meaning, we take the time to understand the person behind the presenting concerns.
Seeking psychological support can take courage. We aim to provide a warm, respectful and non-judgemental environment where you can speak openly about your experiences.
There is no single approach that works for everyone. Your experiences, circumstances, strengths and goals inform the way treatment is developed.
Our work is informed by contemporary psychological research and established therapeutic approaches, with interventions selected according to your individual needs and treatment goals.
We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment and maintaining privacy and confidentiality in accordance with professional, ethical and legal requirements.
Where appropriate, and with your consent, we can work alongside GPs, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians and other health professionals involved in your care.
Therapy can be about more than managing symptoms. It can create an opportunity to develop insight, build practical skills, strengthen relationships, reconnect with your values and move towards a life that feels meaningful to you.
